Kitesurfing Spots

Tatajuba River Mouth

This spot is right next to our accommodation. It’s a river mouth that flows into the sea. During high tide, the whole area is practically covered by water. At low tide, you can simply walk down to the sea and kitesurf there. Another advantage is that the wind is very strong and safe here. Despite the excellent conditions, there are never many kitesurfers here, and nature is constantly changing and, since this year, has created a huge kitesurfing spot.
Right next to the spot in Tatajuba is also the kitesurfing school, which offers courses for beginners and advanced kitesurfers, as well as equipment rental.

Lagoa da Torta

Lagoa da Torta is a popular spot for our guests in Tatajuba. From our kitesurfing school, we take a 4 km buggy ride through villages and dunes until we reach this spot. The price per buggy (max. 4 people) is around 40 euros. The buggy ride is a lot of fun and makes the place unforgettable. We are often met by small groups of donkeys.
In this beautiful freshwater lagoon, you have a few less knots than in the sea or the adjacent lagoon. But it’s still more than enough to spend many hours on the water. Advanced kitesurfers and shallow water lovers will definitely love this spot. Beginners can also be trained in the shallow area of the lagoon.
In the adjacent restaurant, you can cool off or relax with a coconut in the hammocks in the water. For this reason, this spot is also very popular with non-kitesurfers.
